Do dominicans have self hate issues?

Not all Dominicans do. I have a friend who's Dominican and doesn't deny having African blood. Her mother has dark skin and her father is tan. She'd even once said her ancestors traveled to D.R. on a slave ship. And another friend of mine mother had told her not to bring a Black boy home.
